The cutting head is replaceable and is available in a narrow, pattern head or a wide, straight edge head .
For lubrication, it is recommended that you use a very light oil such as kerosene or a synthetic lubricant such as CG Special Cutting Oil. As with all self-oiling cutters, the first use requires priming the oil system by depressing the cutting head several times until oil reaches the wheel or, the head may be removed and the valve depressed manually until oil flows smoothly.
